Teen Central

teens

Teen Central is for teens ages 12-18 who are looking for opportunities to hang out with their peers and enjoy activities and discussions relating to their interests: anime, current issues, books, creative writing and poetry, crafts, and more. Teen Central gives teens a way to serve the Library by choosing books, music and movies for the collection and by planning and hosting programs of their own. This year there will be a chance to update the library website's Teen Page – teen ideas and help are needed!

teensTeen activities take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Central Library Community Room. (Watch for changes around holidays.) Come on in to find out more, have refreshments and meet teens that are already involved! For more information, call Martha at 263-6828, ext. 425 or stop by the reference desk in Rice Hall, located on the 2nd floor at the Central Library, 220 State Street. Springfield.
